Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) governs payments, cancellations, refunds, credits, and rescheduling for courses, training events, and related services offered by Sovereign Response LLC, a Colorado limited liability company (“Sovereign Response LLC,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Policy is incorporated by reference into the Website Terms of Service and all training-related agreements.

By enrolling in a course, submitting payment, or participating in training, you acknowledge and agree to this Policy.

1. General Policy Framework

All courses require full payment at the time of booking.
Sovereign Response LLC does not accept deposits unless expressly stated in writing for a specific course.
This Policy applies to all courses, including introductory, defensive, tactical, higher-risk, private, hosted, and NFA-related training.
This Policy operates in conjunction with all executed waivers, releases, indemnification agreements, conduct acknowledgments, and assumption-of-risk documents. In the event of any conflict, the provisions most protective of Sovereign Response LLC shall control to the fullest extent permitted by law.

2. Student-Initiated Cancellations

2.1 Cancellations Fourteen (14) or More Days Before the Course

If a student cancels fourteen (14) or more calendar days prior to the scheduled course start date, the student may request either:

A refund of the tuition paid, or
A course credit of equal value.

2.2 Cancellations Thirteen (13) Days or Fewer Before the Course

If a student cancels thirteen (13) or fewer calendar days prior to the scheduled course start date:

No refunds will be issued;
A course credit may be issued at the discretion of Sovereign Response LLC.

Course credits issued under this section:

Are non-transferable;
Have no cash value;
Must be used within the timeframe specified at issuance.

2.3 Failure to Attend / No-Shows

Failure to attend a scheduled course for any reason, including travel delays, illness, personal emergencies, or scheduling conflicts, constitutes a no-show.
No refunds or credits will be issued for no-shows.

3. Provider-Initiated Cancellations

If Sovereign Response LLC cancels a course due to weather, range or facility issues, instructor availability, safety concerns, legal or regulatory changes, or operational necessity, enrolled students will be offered: - A full refund, or - A course credit toward a future course.

Sovereign Response LLC shall have no liability for ancillary costs incurred by students, including travel, lodging, ammunition, equipment, or time off work.

4. Removal, Disqualification, or Denial of Participation

4.1 Safety, Conduct, and Legal Disqualification

If a student is removed from or denied participation in a course due to: - Violation of safety rules or instructor directives; - Unsafe firearm handling or negligent conduct; - Use of alcohol, illegal drugs, or impairing substances; - Aggressive, disruptive, or inappropriate behavior; - Failure to meet physical, medical, or skill prerequisites; - Equipment or ammunition deemed unsafe or unsuitable; - Legal ineligibility to possess or use firearms or ammunition;

No refunds or credits will be issued under any circumstances.

5. Equipment or Ammunition Failure

If a student is unable to complete training due to firearm malfunction, ammunition issues, or equipment failure, Sovereign Response LLC may, in its sole discretion, issue a course credit.
Sovereign Response LLC has no obligation to issue refunds or credits for equipment-related issues.

6. NFA-Regulated Courses and Equipment

For courses involving National Firearms Act (“NFA”) regulated items, including but not limited to suppressors, short-barreled rifles (SBRs), short-barreled shotguns (SBSs), or other regulated devices:

Students who fail to lawfully possess, transport, or document required compliance will be denied participation;
No refunds will be issued;
Course credit may be denied or granted solely at the discretion of Sovereign Response LLC.

Sovereign Response LLC assumes no duty to verify NFA registration, tax stamp status, or legal compliance. Full responsibility rests solely with the student.

7. Force Majeure

Sovereign Response LLC shall not be responsible for failure or delay in performance due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to: - Severe weather; - Natural disasters; - Fire or flood; - Government orders or legal restrictions; - Range or facility closures; - Acts of God or force majeure events.

In such cases: - Refunds will not be issued; - Students may be offered the option to reschedule or receive course credit, at Sovereign Response LLC’s discretion.

8. Payments, Processing Fees, and Chargebacks

All payments are processed through third-party payment processors, including Shopify.
Processing fees are non-refundable.
Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute in violation of this Policy constitutes a material breach of the Website Terms of Service.
Sovereign Response LLC reserves the right to:

Contest chargebacks;
Recover chargeback fees, administrative costs, and associated losses;
Deny future enrollment to students who initiate improper chargebacks.

9. No Transfer or Resale

Course registrations and credits may not be sold, transferred, assigned, or gifted without the prior written consent of Sovereign Response LLC.

10. Policy Modifications

Sovereign Response LLC reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time. The version in effect at the time of booking shall govern unless otherwise required by law.

11. Governing Law

This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, except where state-specific training agreements designate otherwise.
