Refunds
What is your cancelation policy?
If you cancel 14 or more days before your scheduled course, you may choose either:
- A full refund, or
- A course credit for a future course.
If you cancel 13 days or fewer before your course, refunds are not available. A course credit may be offered at the discretion of Sovereign Response.
What happens if I can’t attend my course?
If you are unable to attend, please notify us as soon as possible.
Students who do not attend their scheduled course are considered a no-show. No refunds or credits are available for no-shows.
What if I get sick before class?
If you need to cancel due to illness, our standard cancellation policy applies:
- 14+ days before class: Refund or credit available.
- 13 days or fewer before class: Refunds are not available. Credits may be offered at our discretion.
Can I transfer my registration to someone else?
No. Course registrations and course credits are non-transferable unless approved in writing by Sovereign Response.
What happens if Sovereign Response cancels a course?
If we cancel a course due to weather, range issues, instructor availability, safety concerns, or other operational reasons, you will be offered:
- A full refund, or
- A course credit toward a future course.
Will you reimburse my travel, lodging, ammunition, or other expenses if a class is canceled?
No. Students are responsible for their own travel, lodging, ammunition, equipment, and other related expenses.
What if severe weather prevents the course from taking place?
Safety is our priority. If severe weather or other circumstances beyond our control prevent a course from taking place, we may reschedule the course or issue a course credit.
What if my firearm or equipment malfunctions during class?
Students are responsible for ensuring their firearms, ammunition, and equipment are safe and functional before training.
If equipment issues prevent completion of the course, Sovereign Response may offer a course credit at its discretion.
What happens if I violate safety rules during training?
Safety violations may result in immediate removal from training.
Students removed for:
- Unsafe firearm handling
- Failure to follow instructor directions
- Disruptive behavior
- Alcohol or drug use
- Legal ineligibility to possess firearms
- Unsafe equipment
Will not receive a refund or course credit.
Can I attend if I am not legally allowed to possess a firearm?
No. Students must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding firearm possession and use.
What if I am taking a course that involves NFA-regulated firearms or equipment?
Students are solely responsible for ensuring they legally possess, transport, and comply with all applicable NFA requirements.
Failure to meet legal requirements may result in denial of participation without refund.
Are payment processing fees refundable?
No. Payment processing fees are non-refundable.

What are these Terms of Service?
These Terms govern your use of the Sovereign Response website, online services, and course registration systems. By using the website, you agree to follow these Terms.
Do I need to be legally allowed to possess a firearm?
Yes.
You are responsible for ensuring you can legally possess and use firearms and ammunition under all applicable laws.
Does Sovereign Response provide legal advice?
No.
Information on this website is for educational and informational purposes only and should not be considered legal, medical, or firearms eligibility advice.
Does completing a course guarantee my safety or proficiency?
No.
Training can improve knowledge and skills, but no course can guarantee safety, performance, judgment, or outcomes in real-world situations.
Will I need to sign additional documents before training?
Yes. Depending on the course and location, participants may be required to sign documents such as:
- Assumption of Risk Agreements
- Liability Waivers
- Safety Acknowledgments
- Medical Disclosures
- Equipment Responsibility Agreements
- Media Releases
- Other course-specific documents
Participation may be denied if required documents are not completed.
Are firearms training courses dangerous?
Yes. Firearms training involves inherent risks. Some courses may include:
- Movement-based drills
- Defensive shooting exercises
- Low-light training
- Stress-inducing scenarios
- Physical exertion
- Advanced firearms handling
Participation involves risks that cannot be completely eliminated.
Can I use your training materials to teach my own classes?
The policy states no. Sovereign Response training content, methodologies, drills, and instructional systems may not be copied, reproduced, or used to create competing training programs.
HOWEVER, consider this my written consent to utilize any and all training content, methodologies, drills and instructional systems to reproduce and/or use to create competing training programs. I am a strong believe that all firearm education and training should be shared as long as it is safe, efficient and effective.
Can I record training sessions?
Unless specifically authorized in writing, recording or distributing proprietary training content is prohibited.
Consider this my written consent to only record proprietary training content as long as the content is for note-taking purposes. I do not consent on the distribution of the content anywhere.
Do you own the training ranges where courses are held?
Not necessarily. Training may occur at private ranges, public facilities, host properties, or temporary training locations that are not owned or operated by Sovereign Response.
Additional facility-specific rules or waivers may apply.
Are third-party services covered by your policies?
No.
Payment processors, scheduling systems, host facilities, ranges, and other third-party providers operate under their own terms and policies.
Can course details change after I register?
Yes. Sovereign Response may:
- Change instructors
- Modify course content
- Change training locations
- Adjust training methods
- Cancel courses when necessary
Any refunds or credits are governed by the applicable Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Can these Terms change?
Yes. Sovereign Response may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
